Much of Great Bay is an aquaculture zone with many farms, most of which are delineated by unlit yellow special marks. The bay is exposed to westerly winds and has wide shallow beaches. Offers good shelter from East through to Southwest. Mooring not approved for forecast Westerly and North-Westerly weather conditions. Mooring is located in approximately 4m of water. Approach mooring from the north to avoid shallows.
